Planning office frosting when old film must come off
The Beltline record covers 32 windows, including old privacy-film removal, completed in two days. For another office, separate the removal work from the new frosting layout. A window count alone does not describe pane size, adhesive condition or access.
Inventory the existing film
Photograph each type of affected pane, with close-ups of lifting edges and residue. Mark where existing graphics must be removed or retained so replacement pricing does not assume bare, ready-to-film glass.
Agree on sightlines and coverage
Show views from desks, corridors and both sides of meeting-room glass. Identify full-panel frosting, bands and clear areas on a marked-up image before treating every window as the same privacy requirement.
Coordinate occupied-room access
List meeting-room availability and any furniture that limits access to the glass. Ask the quotation to distinguish removal, preparation and installation; the published two-day job does not establish a schedule for a different office.
