Window film and wallpaper in northwest Calgary

Most of our northwest Calgary work is window film on houses, from inner-city streets to new builds. The finished jobs photographed here are in Capitol Hill, Collingwood, Bowness, Highland Park, Mount Pleasant, Charleswood, Livingston and Crowfoot, each with its own case study below.

Privacy on inner-city glass

Capitol Hill (a dining room window set and an entry door with sidelight), Collingwood (a street-facing bathroom window and a front door), Highland Park (a round divided-lite bathroom window) and Bowness (dual-reflective DR 37 film on street-facing living-room windows).

New builds

Solar film on side windows and a dining room in a Mount Pleasant new build, frosted film on new-build bedroom windows in Charleswood, and solar film in Livingston.

Commercial

Solar-control film on the entrance doors, sidelites and storefront glazing of a Crowfoot fish market.

Patterns

Infill lots, odd windows, doors

Three situations come up again and again in the northwest projects above.

Close neighbours

Infill lots put windows a few metres from the next house or the sidewalk, so frosted and reflective films carry most of the privacy work here.

Tall and angled glass

The Capitol Hill glare job was a tall, angled black-frame window: measure and photograph unusual shapes before choosing a film.

Doors

Entry doors and sidelights come up on three of the northwest jobs. Film is cut edge to edge inside the frame and around the hardware.

FAQ

Which northwest communities do you cover?

Yes, every northwest community. The finished projects on this page are the ones we have photographed so far.

Can you match film on a replaced pane?

Often. Send a photo of the existing film and, if you have it, the product name. The Capitol Hill entry-door job was a replacement of old frosted film.

Photos of the glass, rough sizes and the problem to solve are enough to start. We reply in writing with fit, timing and coverage.
