One texture carried across two accent walls
This Cochrane room uses a rose-gold metallic textured wallpaper on two separate walls: the main wall framed by black sconces and a second wall interrupted by a narrow window. The repeated finish connects the two surfaces without turning the whole room into one continuous pattern.
Alla completed the installation in five hours. The homeowner's curious dog kept trying to sneak a taste of the wallpaper paste, but the finished walls—and the paste—made it through safely.

Project challenge
The walls were not empty rectangles. Fixed curtains, sconces, electrical outlets, window trim and other attachments broke up the papered surfaces. Each opening needed an accurate cut without scuffing the metallic face or leaving a visible gap at the fixture edge.
Installed solution
The drops were planned from the room's strongest sightlines, then fitted around the fixed elements one at a time. Careful relief cuts at the sconces and outlets kept the wallpaper flat, while the second wall required clean alignment into the white window casing and baseboard.

The same rose-gold texture carries across the room while each wall remains a defined accent surface.
Fixture-level precision
Edges finish tightly around the sconces, outlets, curtains and window trim without crowding the hardware.
Five-hour installation
Alla completed both walls in one working session, including protection, layout, hanging and detailed trimming.

The window wall shows how the textured finish changes with daylight and how the paper meets the narrow white casing.
